Mr FANDANGO! By Charlotte

Mr  Fandango lives in Fandango forest.  

Fandango is fancy. 

He has a sparkling hat with a lot of  tassels.

Fandango has some pants as blue as the sky and they gleam when he shakes his bum.

He is always  jolly. He twists and twirl on the dance floor.

I  wonder what it would  be like in fandango land.

THE FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I made a fan!! It was very hard. Firstly,I Couldn't find the screws. Secondly, after I had found the screws, I had to watch  a stupid video that could've been waaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Finally, one little screw didn't fit. I had to do without it. Anyway, it now works perfectly. Here is a picture.

Literacy Tumble

Room 3 is learning how to tumble through our literacy activities.

We have been working hard on staying focused and using our tumble board.

Here are some of the learning we have been doing in our class.

How long does it take to get to school?

 Room 3 has been learning about Stem & Leaf graphs.

Today we collected data on how long it took to get to school.

 We had to record our times and then round it to the nearest minute.

 Next we ordered our information from smallest to largest.

Then we put our data onto our stem and leaf graph.

Finally we worked out the mean, median, mode and range! ... it was REALLY tricky!!!

The BIG BAD WOLF by Flynn

Deep, deep down in the forest there is a wolf. He lives in a revolting burrow. He loves human flesh and hearts. He also eats rotten fish. He is very fat.

Room 3 Class Treaty

Room 3 has been working on their class treaty for the past 2 weeks.

We have discussed our ideas, worked in small groups and voted on how we wanted our treaty to look.

When I went to the South island By Frank :-)

In the school holidays I went to the South Island. When we got there my uncle picked us up from the airport. He lives in wanaka. He lives in a small farmhouse. He has 2 BIG FAT pigs; 15 woolly sheep; 2 Moooooooing cows; 6 plump, mouth-watering chickens and 1 grey super fast horse with rockets stuck to his feet and back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My uncle has 2 COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL things: 1: jet fast; 2: a jet boat! We went to a river with the jet boat and jet farts!! But jet farts DO NOT GO in rivers! luckily (hooray!) we took the boat and rode down the  river! when we were ZOOMING down the river we hit a rock and I fell out out of the boat (dang it!)! When I fell in (ahhhhhh!) the freezing cold water almost froze me to death (freaky!)! luckily, I had my life-jacket and wet suit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE END :-)

MAXWEL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!

In school holidays I went to pt Erin pools 3 times.  I went to the mall to buy some shoes some clothes. Then I ate MC Donalds.  I went home to relax and on Friday I went to my dads
and then I played on my IPAD.  I was listening to some songs. It's was fun. I played outside on the the grass playing kicks with my cousin and then we went inside because it was getting Dark.
Then we all A movie we watch big hero 6 its was a cool movie then we fell a sleep. The end 

Statements By Zephyr

Today we made statements about our class treaty. Tomorrow we're going to make something to put the statements onto. So far we have a pizza (clap clap clap) and an octopus (more clapping)! Tomorrow we're going to vote,Vote,VOTE!! We are going to sketch,draw and paint. Finally,I have some quiz questions and jokes that might appeal to you. Bye!
