Matariki By Sasha

This is the seven sisters of  matariki.

These are their names Matariki , Ururangi,  Waipuna-a-rangi, Waiti, Waita,  Tupu-a-nuku and  Tupu-a-rangi.

They had beautiful  long golden  hair and  midnight  tops.

I feel amazed at their humming bird singing and their pukeko feathered dresses.

  1. What a cool story.
Room 14 has been learning about the seven stars of Matariki. I bet Brian is a whizz about that stuff.

    Keep up the fabulous work

    Kia ora Sasha,

I was also dazzled by the seven sisters, what breathtaking beauties they must be. I love stories about faerie folk. One day you must pop around to Jaimes and I will read you the story of Pania of the Reef. She was a sea faerie who fell in love with the handsome son of a cheif.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Seven Stars of Matariki Sasha.

  3. Wow Sasha, I love your story. I love the thought of their hummingbird singing. Maybe we can write our own hummingbird song at home!
