Roly-Poly By Kayne

I was twirling fast.  I am dizzy.  It is fun and cool.  I love rolling on the grass and it's prickly like concrete.

  1. Hi Kane,

I really like your adjectives - prickly and dizzy, what interesting words!

    Keep up the fabulous writing

    Kia ora Kayne,

that's a super Kidpix picture! It actually looks like you're rolling really fast with arms and legs everywhere.

Ka pai to mahi (great work!)

    1. Hi Jacqui,

We learnt a new Maori question...

      Kei te pehea koe?

Kei te pai Kayne, I am well, thank you for asking!

Also, thank you for taking an interest in te reo Maori. It is the language Jaimes great grandparents spoke all the time. They would say ordinary things like "can you pass the salt", but in reo Maori it sounded like this "homai te tote", can you imagine!

I wonder, do your family have a language they speak at home that is not English Kayne?

Ka pai to ra, have a great day.
