My Cricket Match Taylor vs Williamson

Last Saturday on the 27th, I had my cricket match at Coxs Bay Park. Mum and Raneel were with me.
My Dad was in Palmerston North to play hockey. We lost the toss, but we are pretty at fielding, so we were fielding. After Over 1 it was Overs: 1 Maidens: 0 Runs: 2 Wickets: 4. After Over 2 it was Overs: 2 Maidens: 0 Runs: 8 Wickets: 5. I made 25 runs from 15 balls. My boundaries were 1 four and 3 sixes. I got 22 runs in boundary. The final score was 98 to 57 and my team which was Team Taylor won by 41! My team was named after the Black Caps captain Ross Taylor. I also got Player of the Day for my first game which felt me ecstatic. I felt ecstatic because I got the Player of the Day award.

Diwali

On Saturday the 20th of September I performed at Aotea square for Diwali. Our group was called
Dreams on Fire. We had to wait in the lounge  to get our make up on (face paint) When 4 hours was
up it  was time for us to peform.

The dance was ten minutes long, when my teacher was dancing I had to get changed
into this orange red fire costume so did three other girls there names were Nina,
Madie and Rebecca. We had to get changed into different costumes because we did
a part together.

After the dance the group got some photos it was Me, Rebecca, Nina, Madie, Leam, Holly,
Rosie, Katelin, kassidy, Emily, Hoilday, Jess and lucky last my teacher were all bunched
up together for six photos.

When everything was packed up my family and I went and got some food.
On our way out, me and my mum saw these girls on really tall stilts and I got a
photo with them.

I had a great time and I got two chocolate bars!!

Art inspired by Warren Pohatu.

We have been reading Mokai Rangatira By Warren Pohatu.

We were really inspired by his beautiful pictures and stories about different animals.
So we made our own using sharpie, water paint, coloured pencils and pastels.

We had to shade, use contrasting colours and use the entire page.

Have a look at the results....

Alliteration By Oliver

Hi my name is Oliver and I'm going to show you how to do alliteration.
This is how you do it.

An armoured armadillo avoiding an angry alligator. See all those letters start with A but occasionally you have to use a little word such as and.
I will do other alliteration sentences.

Diabolical dragons daintily devouring delicious delicacies.
